Bailey Plays Bach

An intimate evening of solo cello music from the incomparable Zuill Bailey. Selections from J.S. Bach’s Suites for Unaccompanied Cello — emotional, ravishingly compelling, acclaimed as some of the greatest works ever written for solo cello, and some of Bach’s most popular works today. (Although this is not part of the season subscription package, subscribers get a special discount for this milestone event.)

An evening of masterworks for orchestra and cello by Piotr Ilyitch Tchaikovsky will inspire and transport you. Electrifying cellist Zuill Bailey makes his return to Lynchburg for this all-Tchaikovsky program, featuring works for cello and orchestra featured on the artist’s newest CD release.

Concert tickets are $20 for adults ($18 for those over age 60), and $7 for students over 18 with ID. Young people 17 and under are admitted free if accompanied by an adult ticket holder.
